All temporary electrical installations must be carefully designed, selected and erected to ensure both a reliable and safe electrical installation is installed.
Even though they are temporary, these electrical installations can often be installed in high risk environments and erected on temporary structures which can create further hazards. Therefore it is important to identify specific cables and accessories that are more suited in this environments and to achieve a safe selection and use of them.
This course covers the installation competencies required for the installation of these temporary installations and covers both small and large installations as identified under BS 7909.
